The fascinating world of Chinese Opera - all year round!

Interactive session that will take the students through an opera artist’s preparation for a performance as well as giving the keys to a better appreciation of the art form.

The students will learn the intriguing art of applying opera make up and the intricate details of putting on opera costumes and headgear as well as the understanding of the different actions behind the scenes with a demonstration by 2 artists while being explained

This demonstration will lead up to a short Cantonese opera performance of a popular Chinese legend “Madam White Snake” or the Chang Er, the Moon Fairy...

Through this workshop students will get the keys to a better appreciation of the art form through the understanding of the different actions behind the scenes (Demonstration by 2 artists while being explained)
